Education for Teachers

As an effort to raise awareness for the Arab American community, GAAI presented at the 2023 Missouri Council for History Education (MOCHE) conference. In March 2024, GAAI presented at the 2024 “History at the Crossroads” National Council for History Education (NCHE) conference in Cleveland, OH. GAAI presented at the 2025 National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) conference in Washington, DC. Each presentation focuses on the incorporation of Arab American narratives into classroom curricula, especially through the use of oral histories.
